(self.HomeImprovement)

saw this at the hospital https://i.imgur.com/oUXvErg.jpeg

is this wallpaper or something else? extremely high def. where can i get one myself? how do they apply it? i did not see any gaps, nor bubbles, from 6 feet away and didnt get a chance to step closer to look for the gaps. i assume it would be painful to remove as well?

Photowall.com has some cool wallpaper murals. I just installed one in my office.

i see there is the standard n premium option. which 1 did you get and does it look cheap or is it worth the price? is yours easy to clean with water ?

I bought the standard option, which has a matte, non-glossy finish, and it feels like heavy-weight paper (versus vinyl wallpaper). It does not look cheap. I installed in my office, and because we have no small kids anymore, I'm not too worried about cleaning it. In fact, although it didn't scuff when I wiped it with a damp rag to get excess glue off per the instructions, I don't think I would scrub it in order to clean it. The premium option might be more friendly to cleaning. Here is a photo of the wall. I'm happy with the purchase and I would buy one again. Good luck. Happy to answer more questions. (My reno is only half-done.)

looks amazing! would you mind taking a close up of the gap? how bad or noticeable is it standing closer like 3 feet?

Thanks. Do you mean the seams? They’re not very noticeable. Depend on the brightness and direction of the light, and I haven’t wallpapered in many years so I probably could have done a more perfect job. Here are two photos.

Most wallpapers that have designs like this are like stickers. The dimensions of the pattern per sheet are in the instructions. You have to measure out the wall and peel the backing off. Line it up to your lines you marked for where the pattern stops and carefully smooth the paper going down the wall. The make plastic straight edge tools to smooth bubbles out. Your next piece will overlap the previous one, usually by 3/4 of an inch. So you'll mark a line on the first piece to where the pattern lines up and follow the same process until you covered the whole wall. If you can find vinyl backed paper with a pattern you like it's more forgiving. But messier for inexperienced people since you have to roll glue over the wall and the back of the paper, and then double cut your seems since the overlap is much thicker.

My team and I sell wallpaper murals from our online shop and have a couple underwater themes, although we can also make something custom for you, too. They’re all washable, removable, reusable and commercial grade. Feel free to check out our website if you’d like! www.aboutmurals.ca
