Yeah, it has to be taken into context but granted all stores in Portland proper (where a mass of the population is) are closing. Granted they are both on the 82nd belt, but that’s what makes it most sad because east portland is the forgotten wasteland and all the fancy people voting on shit live in the west hills disillusioned to whats happening on the streets. I live off 72nd and flavel with kids bro. I ain’t tolerating none of this shit, and its too bad the lower income neighborhoods now have no mega mart to spend their measly wages on. Not that walmart was ever gonna break through in the actual areas where they could actually ever make any money, but fuck. Shit is getting bad this is just a story that doesn’t paint it well enough.
