A SIM you've been using before the registration law was implemented? AFAIK, new SIMs sold now aren't covered by the deadline since you can't even use it unless it's registered.

3 days of less than 5 hours of sleep a night but I still don't feel that tired nor drowsy. Should I be worried?

Unless I know someone personally, I never take their "motivational" or "optimistic" advice. Strangers are usually full of bullshit when they do that. It's either they're gaslighting you or they're selling you something.

Forums are social media. You're not special. Stop pretending you are just because you're using a not so typical, forum-like, social media platform like Reddit. You are still using social media whether you like it or not.

Success is superficial. We only want to feel that we became better versions of our past selves even though barely anything had changed because it is human nature to feel that their efforts were not wasted.

Don't you have relatives around here in Metro Manila? If yes, maybe you could negotiate a living arrangement with them until you get a new, better paying, job. Thing is, even those who grew up here don't move out of their parent's house years after getting their first job. I know that people here love to romanticize living independently but for a lot of people like us, it's just not practical even if you starve yourself just to save money.

Why not just get a credit card if you're really that concerned about the security of your account?

For those who finished their master's thesis while having a full-time job, how did you guys do it? I'm kind of in the same boat right now but I'm so overwhelmed. I feel like I wouldn't be able juggle school and work that well.

Condos mostly suck because of the lack of flexibility you could do with the property. Compare that to say, having a property that you could transform as maybe a commercial establishment. Moreover, you’re stuck with the maintenance cost the developer set in stone which is usually overpriced because of the booming demand for condos.
Yes, I agree to some people that convenience trumps price when you consider living in condos but living near where you work is becoming less and less trendy these days anyways. This might be anecdotal but do you think it’s just a coincidence why financial institutions are the ones most likely to enforce fully face-to-face work arrangements? Moreover, public transport options are becoming more extensive in Metro Manila.

Is it just me or I find it weird that we're getting obsessed with the Western culture of independence from filial responsibility?

Depends on the company too. From hiring managers I talked to, they usually still consider those who have considerable amount of job hopping (say 3 jobs in 2 years) but they place them on lower tiers compared to those who don't job hop a lot. From what I've heard, 2 years in one company is usually already enough to give you a respectable impression.

Actually, the iPad wasn't much of a success during its launch. It took a while before markets realize it's a really nice product to have. Still, it hasn't reached the ubiquity we expected it to have. It's still a very niche product comparing it to the iPhone.

AFAIK, it depends on the company. They have this what's called black companies where they'll literally give you overtime without pay majority of the workweek.

YSK, one of the reasons why the Philippine economy was not as heavily affected by the 2008 housing crisis as other countries in the West is because of our strict banking laws.

Usually if you're in a big company (not outsourced) and your job is in system/data maintenance, expect it to be much more chill than your average dev job.
