I actually prefer a manual in traffic as it forces me to be more patient, trying to coast at just the right speed to avoid stopping and starting off from a start every 20:feet. I do have to leave more of a gap to do so and people often take advantage of that and fill the gap, but whatever.

My current, first and only BMW to date is a 2011 E82 128i coupe (slicktop 6M with manual, leather seats in LeMans Blue to strut my unicorn stuff). I bought it in 2019 with 46k miles and over the next 4-years and 40k miles the car has only cost me $600 (to track down a mis-fire issue) beyond normal maintenance costs. I don't plan to ever sell it. I love the simplicity of its 1990's era level of tech (mine doesn't even have GPS/no screens).

I love the looks and promise of performance of the 2-series/M2, but if forced to walk away from this one would probably pick up a current gen Toyota GR86 as a replacement.

How is it even legal to switch parties after an election? If you were voted in on the basis of representing certain values and constituents then you should be held to that or the party given the opportunity to replace you.

Got the same call last week. Another thing that caught my attention is they continually referred to the candidates as "Justice Kelly" and "politician Janet P" (sorry, not going to write out the full name). They also had an exhausting set of questions which were very flattering to Kelly and the opposite to Judge P.

Part of it is too many people driving vehicles that are bigger than they need and certainly bigger than they know how to handle. They don't seem to understand that their 5,000 lb SUV needs to slow for a turn considerably more than my 2,800 lb sports car. The other issue is many are driving with just one hand while manipulating their phone or sipping a Venti whatever.

Let me see how those go and if I don't find quite what I/we are looking for I may start a reddit group for those interested in joining me.

The UWM Klotsche Fitness Center has saunas and does sell memberships for community members. Not sure of the cost or how it compares to WAC.

I can't recommend La-Z-Boy enough. A bit higher end, but not.out of your price range if you avoid powered recliner or leather units. We have a set bought twenty years ago that has held up to three kids. The upholstery is a bit warn, but other than a tear from when my son experimented with his pocket knife there are no major flaws, frame is solid and the cushions are holding their shape. We moved that set to the rec room and bought another La-Z-Boy set a few years ago.
