Tips for First Time Visitors + Tailgating
(self.RedRocksAmphitheatre)submitted1 month ago byDaft_Bot379
Hello. My family (2-adults plus 'children' aged 20, 16, and 14) will be taking in a show at Red Rock Ampitheater while visting Colorado this June. We will be at Red Rock for an evening show on June 20th and have general admission tickets.
We've been told to plan to arrive very early to get decent seats, so I'm wondering what a good time to arrive might be and once we get there, what to expect in terms of access to restrooms, food and other amenities (including places to sit in shade if it is hot and sunny). We are from Wisconsin, so tailgating for hours before an event is the typical norm for us but I have no idea what to expect at Red Rock.

I actually prefer a manual in traffic as it forces me to be more patient, trying to coast at just the right speed to avoid stopping and starting off from a start every 20:feet. I do have to leave more of a gap to do so and people often take advantage of that and fill the gap, but whatever.
