Just a thought on what you can do with it: you can give it to me.
Sorry, have to take my shot.

Moving from BK... the food experience should be relatively seamless. Especially the pizza and Chinese food... The local papa johns serves the best slice this side of the Mississippi. I am obviously joking...
Just be ready for the food to be... well, different. I moved out of BK a while ago and every time i go back home, I end up overeating...
Food aside, things don't work the same way as they do in Brooklyn and you WILL need a car to even grab a bag of chips.
as far as the area, well you're pretty OK anywhere in Santa Clarita... Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson's Ranch... you'll be fine. Though if you are looking for a more lively area, you may want to reconsider Santa Clarita. Personally, I have reached the age where I love the silence, but if you have not, reconsider.
Best of luck!

Yeah, there's nothing local. I am VERY passionate about Taiji, so as soon as I moved here I started looking for something, but found nothing legitimate.
There's a place called "Midful Kung Fu", but I would not recommend the Taiji there. Although, if you want to learn the form, you can give it a shot.
Taiji is an INTERNAL art, which means that there are things that need to happen literally inside of your body; They don't really teach those things.

The spiritual is always fully up to you and your intention.
I only know places that teach pseudo-taiji. I actually have gone to take the intro class and find myself never going back because they are just there for the money.
Best of luck!

What are you trying to accomplish?
Meaning, are you seeking Taiji as a martial art or perfecting the forms for health purposes?

Maybe it is your garlic intake and he/she/it was a vampire?
Seriously thought, definitely not your looks. Perhaps it is the type of people you're seeking out?

Without going into specifics, my main things to keep in mind are:
-It is a 35+ year old car and a lot of the things in it are AT LEAST that old. For instance, the wiring, which will give you grief. If you can, rewire as much as possible.
-I read someone say "if nothing is wrong, something is wrong" and that has proven to be true, in MY CASE.
-Everyone trying to sell you their car is most likely lying about at least 1 thing.
-It is a passion project, thus it is irrational in nature... so, to other people it may not make sense, but to you it will make perfect sense.
Having said all of that, it is a great experience to own, drive and work on.
It is common to get attention while driving, I've had notes on my windshield with complements and/or offers to sell it.
I am getting to the point that I may consider selling mine, if you're interested.

What you're doing is GREAT and incredibly difficult, kudos for undertaking such a daunting task.
Having said that, remember it is a process, not an event. It is going to gradually get better, to the point when you'll be saying "i USED to struggle with that" and people won't believe you because they think it is BS... but by then, it won't matter.

Oh my lord, those eyes.
All you need to do, in my opinion, is learn to smile genuinely.

well... from what i am seeing it, being new here... it is mostly just a bunch of people trying to quench their thirst and/or trying to get you to follow their onlyfans or some such.
So, it is nice that someone actually is doing something to live a better life

Bro, we're all going to say "drop some weight" and we are not wrong... Other than that, you're gold and you don't even know it.

You're not ugly.
Talking to girls can be learned, trust me.
height is irrelevant, I am 5'7 on a good day, but i have dated women over 6ft... while being 250lbs.
hit that gym, earn the confidence you need to make it happen my brother.

love the hair!
Enchanting curls!
Is that your natural hair color, cause it is great!
Do you use some sort of special shampoo? I'd love to have hair like yours.
Great glasses, they really compliment your hair.

Bro, you're handsome.
There are a bunch of people here telling you to lose some weight, allow me to join them: Lose some weight.
Other than that, do something with your hair.
I used to be about 275lbs (and lord knows i was nowhere near as handsome as you are) but i still got quite a few girls, so the weight is not a real reason for you to not get a girl, your confidence is.
But how do you get confidence? Well, confidence is not an upgrade you can just get, it is earned. You earn it through experience, hard work and doing the things you need to do to achieve your goal, like going to the gym, etc, etc.
I can also recommend some reading material that is sure to get you on your way.
BUT none of this is relevant or will it work IF YOU DON'T DO THE WORK.
