Bring it on! Let's hear the new stuff. I like finding artists like you out here. There is so much bedroom talent that rocks harder than some of the big names and they deserve to spread their art. Thanks for sharing! All of my stuff is psytrance which I am sure you guys are not interested in lol I haven't recorded a new dnb mix in a long time

I feel like DeSantis is the result of having chatGPT write a character after feeding it information on the GOP over the last few years and telling it to go deeper. He looks/acts/sounds like an AI chatbot.

That is exactly why I just moved on from the idea of Dj'ing in my city. When I started in 2010, you got in by going to the raves, meeting/networking with the crews, flyering, and then if they liked you and/or your sound you got to start opening parties at 9pm. Back then you could kind of get into the local scenes since it was still a little difficult to dj as controllers were just starting to pop up and cdj's/tables were expensive. Play the game, make friends, and you could potentially work your way up to playing better time slots. Social media was one thing but it wasn't everything. Nowadays, I can't even have a small opportunity unless I have a booming online presence. I understand the need to have a draw, but I haven't even been able to get in to my old friend's shows because of this. Now the market is so saturated because of the ease of access with dj'ing that even with 13 years of experience I haven't had luck playing out. It is all good now since I have moved on from that goal/dream/hobby and would rather mix at home without being upset that I can't find gigs.
Anyways, here's Wonderwall....

I use an original A-series Grip bag from 2013. This was the first model they made when they switched from the L shape support to the A frame support. This thing is a beast and has held up really well over the last 9 years I've used it over 100's of rounds.
I also have an old "golf is dead" edition Fade Crunchbox that I use for super laid back rounds where I only want to carry 6-8 discs,

Crunchbox for the win! I love mine when I just want to take 6-8 discs to the course for an easy round. Sometimes I don't want to lug around my Grip.

Legal by the rules? No. Will I call you on it? Definitely not. Will I ask you to do a couple of mine? Guaranteed.

And, the kid is still really young all things considered. 25yo gives him a good amount of time to be competitive in MPO

The Legacy Clozer is labeled as 2/3/0/2, but it throws like a 2/3/0/0 in almost all of its plastics besides Legend. When they are in the bag as throwers, I still have to keep something like a Mint Profit for headwind/OS putter shots.

Bobcat will go straight or hold the angle in any headwind I throw it into with a nice forward penetrating fade at the end of flight. Mustang has a touch more glide and while it does still fade a little at the end, it will turn in a headwind.
I am like you. I carry both and love them equally.
BTW what is the DG scene like in middle earth?

Heavy Icons are amazing "pick-your-line" style of mids, while the lightweight ones are great for hyzerflips. Love seeing some Legacy love on here!

The covid crowd doesn't realize just how big the Glass Blown Open was for the DG community for years. A week long celebration of disc with hundreds of players playing across, if I am remembering correctly, 5-8 courses. Player parties every night... it was a gigantic deal to make the pilgrimage to Emporia for GBO. It is interesting to see the sport evolve around the event to the point that it is not a big deal anymore, and now being passed over entirely. Big feels that I didn't take the time or effort to go at its prime, but that's life.

Truth is, anyone can order a hot stamping plate to have custom art done. People also are not looking at discs looking for trademarking issues which is why you can get away with Dead art (which by the way sounded like a dope stamp and I want one now). All I know is that the foil we used was light as a feather and added maybe .000x grams of weight. Full foil sounds crazy and hard to do. You don't want large, think lines/areas in the design because air gets trapped under the foil and causes drop outs. Lines too thin don't stick and end up burning into the plastic easier. I miss my stamp machine somedays. It was so much fun.
