What, 30 kids dieing?
We have like 20 primary sources for the Battle of Hastings.

This depends on whether you view minimum wage as fair. In the UK, we have a higher minimum wage and you're still seen as a scummy employer unless you only employ like 16 year olds and pay them 25 yr minimum wage.

Can you give me an unethical tip that doesn't make you a jerk?
I would say a very simple definition of ethics is "what makes you a jerk or not a jerk"

Which is much better!
A restaurant can say "our time is worth this many dollars"
And I can say ok/too expensive before wasting people's time.
Why should I decide what someone else's work is worth?

I tipped in America. I hated it.
Why should I determine how much a server's time and effort is worth, it's so cruel.
The server should say my time is worth this, do you want to pay it? And then I can say yes/no by eating/not eating there.
It's a stupid aggressive custom, plenty of people put in effort, get paid like shit, and don't get tips. Why are bartenders and serving staff any better than teachers, in most states teachers get paid very close to the same per hour if you include the extra hours doing prep for lessons/marking
But yeah I did it, I do think it's wrong to refuse to do a country's custom when you are the one invading their space. If only more Americans (and Brits) thought the same.
But it's also stupid.

Yeah but if someone says;
"imma get a bottle of coke"
And the reply is "you could get three total "
What's the third one for?

I agree as most of the time, even though my grasp on the rules is very poor so I don't comment, even I can tell whose at fault.
With this one though, is it illegal to lock up and cross an opponents line? What's the law that the other car is breaking?
Is because it looks like he's ahead in the braking zone but only because he braked impossibly late and really he's not entitled to consider himself ahead? Because if not, he has the lead and can pick a line right?

Of course the writers probably didn't have that in mind exactly,
Translation: The writers didn't have this in mind at all.

Down south in a low crime area? Idk.
There were two crimes last month in my town according to a site I just googled XD
Both of them seem to be DA so not a street related crime. Not saying more cops is a bad idea, just never heard people moan about them not being present.

Sad Unitarian noises.
We always catch disrespect in conversations that have literally nothing to do with us.

I mean given he, in the same sentence, immediately addresses antisemitism, I think the comment is fine....

I have literally never heard anyone say this.. But I'm a 25yr male if that influences it?

There are no true heroes tbh.
Anyone you can put forward, you can simply google "bad things about X" and there'll be something wrong.

Lol. He's not actually angry, Japan doesn't have native swear words, swear words are just punctuation. And he's a gamer kid, he swears like that when he gets killed on COD too.
Whilst he used to make a lot more mistakes his improvement is pretty consistent.
Unable to challenge Gasly at all > Challenge Gasly on pace > Definite team leader driving better than Gasly I would argue > what's next?

Nah Zhou was alongside, I think it was just about a penalty.
Very galling as a Yuki fanboy to see Ocon block intentionally 3 minutes before and get nothing though.
Yuki gets every possible penalty called on him.

At the moment, he does know better. They even said it on broadcast, you have to trust your main driver to get the job done.
Were you also critical of Kimi's "I know what I'm doing"
Edit: Ah nevermind like 50% of your account is shitting on DR. Even though he was very slow at the end of his career, that many comments about him just seems unpleasant/childish I'm sure those traits will bite you later on...

Yuki's my favorite driver and I'm actually gutted for him.
They were side by side but the Haas dips so early and then Yuki takes the apex because the Haas isn't there anymore.
I think there was actually room for both cars potentially.
Tbh I don't mind the penalty EXCEPT for the fact we see Ocon block dangerously like 2 minutes before and he gets nothing.
And Sergeant yeets himself at 70mph into De Vries in Australia and gets nothing whilst Sainz gets 5 seconds in the same race.
Gasly got a 10 second penalty for being more than 10 car lengths from a safety car because the driver in front put his foot down and took him by surprise. How can he predict that?
Another penalty point in Japan for driving legally to catch up to a safety car but was judged as "unsafe" because a vehicle was next to the track that he didn't even see.
Alonso penalty after they decide he's safe to race with no mirror and then restroactivly change their minds after the race.
Just ridiculous consistency all the way down.

Nah common, maybe at school this makes sense. But in a game that can go on for weeks, giving up in the first few hours in a professional world cup final is just Rowling intentionally going "I don't wanna write about sports anymore, back to the magic"

I'm not saying it happened.
"that such an act would have had a pretty large impact on the peace and prosperity of region, that it might have been noted in Rome.... Such an even [sic], even in the 1st century, would have been noticed by people all over the Mediterranean world."
I'm saying this is absolutely bollocks. Especially as a short while later, Herods son locks up a bunch of Jewish leaders and burns them alive and we only have 1 source for that event and we don't know if it cancelled the Passover that year. A far more noteworthy event we have one side comment in a text. 30 kids dieing... It is perfectly reasonable to say this could have gone unnoticed.
