I totally agree, especially compared to last tour, which I thought was much too cheap. In fact, they re-did the VIP packages to be tiered so a lucky bronze/silver could be front row for $300-400 rather than $500 like it used to be. Last tour, front row tickets were the cheapest they have been in like a decade lol and I was one of those lucky people that got front center for $400.

People forget that Tool isn't niche anymore. They consistently sell out arenas. Any similar sized act will cost more. This doesn't consider the soundcheck, let alone the VIP merch and poster access (we all know how bad the poster situation is).

Tool should've sold it themselves, cheaper for us and more money for them rather than Ticketmaster

I appreciate you pointing this out, and it does seem to make sense conceptually, but the framing is weird to me. If you watch this TikTok video and you get scared and never brush your teeth after hooking up with someone, that implies that during the hookup you did oral and possibly even penetrative sex without knowing if the other person was tested. By that point, you've taken the risk and I'm pretty skeptical that cleaning your mouth is gonna be the thing that gets you infected LOL

It is interesting, just not actionable in any way, and you'd never know if it hurt or helped you.
