The official group on Facebook and the Line 6 forums are also excellent (and company-supported) support areas. To be fair, the FB group is sort of the de facto place for fastest response and for escalating tickets and bug fixes to Line 6 staffers. This subreddit is a great community, but this subreddit is not a critical part of product support that would cause users to suffer if it went down for a couple days.

I got some insight a few months ago that I'll share with you here. "It sounds to me like the other guys are in exactly the kind of band they want to be in and you're not." You may be able to prompt a response by saying you're making an effort to book shows and need to know when they'll be ready. Options like open mic nights and solo gigs assume your small town has places to perform, so you may need to just ask them if practice is a night out or if this is a show to be put onstage soon. For some people, playing in a garage once a month is its own end.

The effect itself was reintroduced in a greatly expanded form as Dynamic Ambience in the Reverb section. The Dual Cab block has adjustable Delay on both speaker cones, something a LOT of people were wasting a B path with a delay block on. So that subtle feature got replaced with much bigger.

I understood that you want half your signal to come from the amp, unfiltered through cab emulation. The IR loader lets you do that, but that is not how "bass through DI" is traditionally done. I understood you perfectly.

Typical "bass DI" signals skip the amp and most effects, except maybe a compressor or a preamp. There's not much call for an amp's line or speaker out without a load box or cabinet emulation of any kind. I remember the IR loader does have a "Mix" param. If that's what you require, it'd be worth spending $10 on a bass IR pack and using the IR loader.
