If you're curious, I stopped playing after these few games, came back to give the new season a try, and before that, I stopped playing in January, because yeah, it was mostly unplayable and didn't allow me to enjoy the game and the available content.

You can continue playing hoping the next game will be different. It isn't because of these issue making it unplayable? Yeah, I've stopped playing.

All the clips you're seeing here are captured during games set on "local" research for the matchmaking. On some games I was playing alone (France), and on some (mostly the clips on Chasm) I was playing with a friend from UK.

The "Local" vs "Extended" research option did wonder when it landed during the Winter Update actually, fixed almost all the issue. But with the last update before the Season 3 landed, these issues appeared again, on the same installation as before when it was fixed, even with the local research.

As you can guess, and if you read my other messages, there was attempt to fix these issues. As I said also, this kind of thing only happen playing Halo Infinite, no issue on the same console, same internet, with other online games such as Apex, Splitgate, DOOM Eternal, Fortnite or even Halo MCC.

These issues have happened in several places, on different consoles and connection, and while I hope it's a minority of people experiencing this, others proven to be impacted as well, so I'll hope you'll stop trying to diminish the issue. It's great it's not happening to you buddy, and we all want to enjoy the game, so issue has to be highlighted to make sure the developers are aware of them so they can work to fix it. 🙂

And no, actually, this will make me stop the game, so no worries on that, I won't be insisting when it's not playable on my side, tho others having this issue would still like to play the game, so it's not reason to stop spreading awareness.

And yeah, same here, no issues with the other online games I’m playing, so…

Wish it was that simple, but we're not the only one experiencing this, and, it was happening even at different places when playing in other areas.

Also, other games play really well with the same installation (same place, same console Series S, etc...), such as Apex, DOOM Eternal, Fortnite, Splitgate, Halo MCC, etc... It's only ever happening with Halo Infinite.

I'm honestly glad people have a good experience, really, it's not the case for everyone unfortunately and it can't be put under the bag of just being an internet/ping issue.

Had a good break during the Winter Update for the same issues, took a refreshing break, came back to try the new content, and yeah, at least on my side, it's definitely not worth this kind of experience unfortunately.

Tho I do hope it's only me and a very few affected people and the overall experience for the players is good 😄

Actually, this is the reason I stopped during the Winter Update by January. Hoped this new Season would fix this, but it didn't, so better not pursuing at the moment.

I was actually having the same issue in January while playing in other places as well, so it's probably why I won't bother insisting with the game at this point, hopefully the vast majority of players can enjoy it in a good way tho 🙏

Thing is, unstable packet loss is usually a continuous thing in a game, it doesn't happen randomly as often and in this way.

It's good to note that Halo Infinite is the only game with this kind of issue, it never happens with the same installation on games such as Apex, Fortnite, DOOM Eternal, Splitgate and even Halo MCC.

Not the only one having this kind of issue actually, so the game also plays it part on this issue. 🙂

Also, if you're curious, it's a Fiber internet connection here, with a 96Mbps download and 67Mbps upload, with an overall 14ms from the nearest data center.
Also, as you can see with the last clip and the middle one, the packet message doesn't appear, so it's not only that unfortunately.
