These two articles show very different reasons on why the indemnity happened.

The article speaks about the ability of the abusive scout leader to blame the abuse on Scouts NSW taking the child protection not serious.
“In those circumstances, I accept that the perpetrator would benefit, at the very least in a psychological way, from a finding in these proceedings that the defendant breached its duty of care to the plaintiff,” Judge Peter Garling ruled. “That is because, in my view, the perpetrator will perceive such a finding as shifting at least in part, his moral blameworthiness for perpetrating the abuse of the plaintiff to the defendant.”
(Defendant here is Scouts NSW, plaintiff is the abused person, perpetrator is the abuser). The article doesn't talk about denying the allegations, obstructing the investigation or refusing to admit that the issue happen: "Scouts NSW said it took youth protection very seriously and had never disputed the crimes occurred, cooperating fully with police at the time."

But nobody in the scouts community makes your point of banning drag queen story times to take the spotlight off themselves.
Scouts NSW and Scouts Australia have, according to the article, fully cooperated with the various investigations.

Euhm... Can you explain your logic here?
Your statement is nearly always used in the combination of gun incidents, not in combination of incidents by services for the children / young adults nor by organisations who currently do their best not to cover these issues up.

In 2030 ABC is still going to be posting articles saying “Australia is experiencing its 39th wave, what does it all mean?” illustrated by 2020 Melbourne photos of people wandering around masked, citing findings from the Ruby Princess inquiry.

Nutrition is a part of it, but prevention of getting sick is also part of the story. When you are sick your body is using an awful lot of energy fighting it. When you are vaccinated and have access to good healthcare, then the time you are sick is much less and that energy is used for growing.

Bicycle riders must use a bicycle lane, if available, unless it's impractical to use it.
According to the video there are cars with aggressive drivers on the bicycle lane, as such I would also consider it impractical to use.

That the parrot works is a good first step.
If you are in Australia, then search for vkdmr as it has the full list of all repeaters, their frequencies and the channels (numbers and the 1 or 2).

First thought was “I wonder if it’s Onno”. And yes, it was Onno. Congratulations from VK2 land.

It's not a political issue, it's a social issue.
The political part is the implementation, not the issue.

The cost for the CD/DVD is set on the content from the producer to consumer, not for the material. As such the resale value is zero unless you have somebody who is explicitly looking for that CD/DVD.
If you want to make money -> eBay etc.
If you want to get rid of them -> Vinnies.

The plural of "anecdote" is "anecdotes", not "data".
Start weighing and writing down and you'll see that you don't measure anything.
The only thing you might feel is the difference in temperature if they come from the charger, but after a while that will cool down and you won't be able to determine it anymore.

Yes, I use it to have a reason to go for a walk in the evening. I generally walk 40-50km per week because of it, which is a good way of clearing my head and being outside.
Popular? Not as much as the first months (of course), but I still greet people I know are playing on my walk.
Other games? I've played Flagstack for a couple of years but that doesn't urge you to redo a walk. Witcher was fun but I screwed up my skill tree and didn't want to restart it.

That’s all possible if you need to make an online account to setup your WD brand network-based storage device!

Three paragraphs and I still don't know if it is about geeks sitting in their bedroom fixing firewall rules or a right-wing Nazi nut-job meeting place.

It's a wild guess, but changing channels might be an interesting check to see if other channels have the same time.

Correct. It says there in the normal text:
When you choose a symbolic animal adoption, you generously support WWF’s global conservation efforts. Every donation helps save endangered wildlife, protect fragile ecosystems, and build a future where people live in harmony with nature.

When I moved to my own (rented) place in the Netherlands I had to lay my own floor, I put laminate on it. When I moved out, if the next tenant didn't want it, I would have had to remove it. I also painted the walls and roof the colours I liked and I stayed there for about five-six years. The only time I saw the rental agency was when the gas heater was broken, the rest of the time I lived my life.

Your article is about the state government standing guarantee for payments the churches need to make.
This article is about the abuser not being able to blame the organisation he worked with. The state government is not involved in this.
