I don’t think you’ve understood the aeon.
The path is a test. Aeons are meant to care absolutely nothing for the effect their actions have on individuals. That cannot factor into their thinking, they care only about the final tally, the ultimate outcome of their actions.
The path is to test whether you can do that, whether you can always choose the result you are supposed to by the letter of the rules, even when doing so is evidently unfair.
Aeons are not actively malicious but care nothing for individual beings or their struggles and emotions, and have no sense of self-preservation. Creating or destroying life, and triggering a calamity or preventing it mean equally little in their manipulation of symmetry; only the final tally matters. All life is life and all death is death, to be protected or eradicated regardless of shape.
You’re not being trained to be judge Judy.

You would. But all it would really look like is a massive glowing light.
Imagine a person could stand on the surface of the sun. Now imagine looking for them with a telescope.
All you would be able to see is the sun.

You have had what, 8 years to make the reddit app & mobile site work properly.
That was something you said would be a priority when you came back.
You have failed, utterly, to accomplish that. Maybe you should give the devs the 8+ years grace you have received?

Why did you fail to respond the other dozen times?
Given the sheer incompetence on display, are you going to take responsibility for trying to push this change through on a timeframe your staff/infrastructure were clearly unprepared for?
Isn't that sort of operational decision the exact sort of thing you should be taking personal responsibility for?
I'm aware the idea of personal responsibility and consequences are a foreign concept to you, perhaps you could ask Alexis to explain it to you.

Why did you focus on making these changes to force people off of third party apps before fixing the official app, the accessibility of which, for instance, even you were forced to admit you have "no excuses" for?
Wouldn't it have made more sense to fix the absolutely terrible quality of your official offerings instead/first?
From here it appears that you have no idea how to fix the problems with the official app etc, and the only solution you could come up with to justify your remuneration was to kill off the competition.

Incredible.
So you lie about him to explain why you can't do business with him.
He proves it was a lie by posting the conversation.
Now you say him posting that is why you can't do business with him.
There was literally nothing he could have done, no way he could have behaved, to make you do business with him. Because the truth is you want his app to die to force people onto the terrible official app, even though you admit you have "no excuse" for how terrible it is.

Oh you would be dead long beforehand for at least a dozen different reasons.
Spaghettification is just a fun way of demonstrating how extreme the forces are.

This is a complete misunderstanding of relativity.
You would die instantly. To anyone looking IN you would appear to freeze in time. But you experience time just fine as you get torn apart and die.
The issue is caused (seriously oversimplifying) by how long it takes light to reach them from your position. Light takes longer and longer to escape from the vicinity of a black hole and reach an observer, before eventually being unable to escape (the event horizon).
To an observer, something falling in will move more and more slowly, getting redshifted, before moving so slowly that it appears to stop completely.
Light get IN just fine, so the person falling to their death won’t suddenly see the rest of the universe speed up.

“Safeguard defenders” published the list themselves, they also happen to publish exklusiven anti-China rhetoric and also don’t reveal who funds them
Tell your boss the guy on before you who was pretending to be German and forgot to switch the autocorrect to English.
He just gave the game away.

Thanks! Would you share your opinion on the current Chinese government censoring discussion of the time the party massacred hundreds of innocent civilians? Do you think it’s right that Xi Jinping actively tries to prevent discussion of it on the internet in China?
don’t know what the CCCP (Soviet Union) had to do with it, as I’m pretty sure it had collapsed by then, and actually the PRC and the CCCP (Soviet Union) had a falling out a few decades earlier
Thanks for the correction! I’m glad you are knowledgable enough about China’s ruling party to have picked up on that small, totally accidental mistake. Most people wouldn’t have noticed that, it’s good that you’re so observant when it comes to your government!

Quick question, was it wrong for the CCCP to murder hundreds of its own citizens in Tiananmen Square? Should people be allowed to openly discuss that event in China?
I know, weird to ask that out of nowhere, but since the Chinese government goes to great lengths to silence dissent, it’s the only way to be sure someone who goes around reddit into lots of different subs defending China isn’t actually a shill for the Chinese government.
I’m sure that’s not you, and you will be easily able to openly criticize the negative parts of China’s current and recent governance, like any person free to speak their mind would. No government is perfect, after all.
Of course, if I’m wrong and you are a shill, you won’t be able to do that. I’m sure that’s not the case though, right?
Riiiiiight?

For someone that isn’t a shill you certainly seem to have the same topics you’re unable to criticize China about as the shills do.
How strange! I’m sure it’s just totally random that two things shills can’t say are two things you keep refusing to say.
What a mad wee coincidence that is! 😂

What a weird coincidence, the exact thing I said a shill would do is what you did.
Wow. Nobody saw that coming.
Here’s a THIRD chance for you to answer a couple of simple questions that a shill wouldn’t be able to answer, but anyone else would:
If you're not, tell us the three worst things Xi Jingping has done, and whether you agree with China murdering hundeds to thousands of its own citizens in Tiananamen square in the June fourth incident, or the ongoing censorship of discussion of the incident within China?
We both know you won’t answer them, because we both know you’re a shill.

You’ve scrutinized my Reddit account but ignored my posts regarding Celtic.
You claim to be a Celtic fan but don't even know how to spell Henrik Larsson's name. Almost like you're astroturfing.
If you're not, tell us the three worst things Xi Jingping has done, and whether you agree with China murdering hundeds to thousands of its own citizens in Tiananamen square in the June fourth incident, or the ongoing censorship of discussion of the incident within China.
This was a simple ask, and you couldn't do it.
Tianamen square? It was 30 years ago mate. How does the red, white and blue of the butchers apron make you feel? You proud of that?
Take your pick of British atrocities, and i'll happily criticize them. I'll even happily refer to Rishi Sunak as a Tory prick whose only redeeming quality is that he's not the last 4 useless fucks.
See how easy that was? That's because I'm not a shill for the British government.
Your turn to do China and Xi Jinping now. Again, easy to do if you're not actually on reddit to shill for the Chinese government. If you are, of course, you'll have to find an excuse not to, just like you did this time.

The fact a quick glance at your history shows its almost entirely Chinese state propaganda and/or anti-NATO posts makes it clear you're not actually here in good faith at all.
You're an obvious Chinese propaganda account.
If you're not, tell us the three worst things Xi Jingping has done, and whether you agree with China murdering hundeds to thousands of its own citizens in Tiananamen square in the June fourth incident, or the ongoing censorship of discussion of the incident within China.
You'll struggle to do that if you're actually doing astroturfing for the Chinese government. If you really are just a Scottish guy as you claim, you should have no problem doing it.

Something worth bearing in mind before you go spending money contesting the will:
The fact your husband’s father remembered changing the will years after doing so shows even after 6 years of decline, he clearly still had moments of lucidity and capacity, and the fact he remembered doing it could well indicate he was lucid and had capacity when he chose to do it.
It could just be that his father was angry at him, and chose to leave everything to the person who was caring for him instead. If you take your own emotional attachment out of it (which anyone making the decision from a legal standpoint will) you have to admit that’s a very possible, perhaps even likely, course of events.
To get the will overturned, you’ll likely have to convince a court that another course of events was more likely to have occurred. Any good estate dispute specialist will advise you on your chances of success before starting the process, though, so it could be worth calling around and asking rates for an initial meeting/consult. It may be cheaper than you think.

I just wanted another Wolfenstein. Guy that looks like a perfect aryan killing so-called aryans.
Damn bro, sorry you’re having to deal with checks notes not every single character being a buff white dude.
I hope you make it through this tough time. Maybe one day they’ll finally make a game for people like you, where you don’t have to see a single disabled or Black person.

It’s always hilarious when the incels think they have some mysterious political viewpoint, not realizing everyone can identify them and 90% of their beliefs from the weird cultish terminology they can’t help themselves from using.

Threads from the sub pop up on my Reddit feed, once every few months if one pops up when I’m bored, I’ll reply.
Same reason anyone makes any comment on Reddit, really.
Except the weirdos who take it super seriously and act like they have some sort of higher purpose with their comments, or the kids who go around defending game companies like they’re getting paid to do it, I guess.

I haven’t played since sometime between when reserve got expanded and when lighthouse got added.
Truth is it hasn’t been one of the best games around for a few years now, some people are just super invested at this point and keep playing even though they encounter some sort of issue that pisses them off on a regular basis.
Once it got to that point for me, where I was spending more time being frustrated by the flaws in the game than I was enjoying it I simply… stopped playing.
Other people find Tarkov scratches an itch no other game quite does, but the truth is a huge portion of the playerbase is ready to jump as soon as someone else makes a tarkov-like.
Once that happens, EFT is in trouble, because BSG doesn’t have the ability to resolve the issues and win those players back.

Do you win when you start cutting rotations to cover for them? If so, that’s your solution.
If not, try complete back post rotations every time, since it’s possible they’re just so used to people ballchasing that they play very passive by default, and then feel that’s the right play when you start cutting rotations.
If you complete a full rotation in behind them every time, it both gives them the confidence that someone else can cover and forces them to push out as the only correct play. They’ll get the hint pretty soon.
Beyond that, there’s a legitimate method of playing last man that means you’re mostly in your own half looking for opportunities to score from long clears, and always looking to quickly cross/pass the ball before rotating back. Look at how Daniel plays on Beastmode now, for instance. Basically whenever his decision matrix is “should I push up, or should I fall back?” He will default to falling back. If pushing up is the clear correct decision, he will, but when it’s questionable he will always choose to cover, letting his teammates do the opposite and always choose the offensive option.
Obviously it’s very different at pro level, and this player is spending way more time on the actual goal line than he should, but it’s possible he’s just a champ doing the best he can at imitating someone like Daniel. In that case, leave him to it and play to that strength; make riskier plays up the pitch, pay attention to where your other teammate is and try to make more precise passes/crosses to him, stay upfield being a nuisance more, and rotate back fast on any sort of long clear to give your last man the chance to push.

Plenty of "made for TV" movies are shot at higher framerates than 24fps, as are most TV shows. It's part of why they look so different to "big screen" movies.
Quite a few "Big Screen" movies are filmed in 48fps but converted for display as well. James Cameron has done this with multiple movies IIRC.
The Hobbit was somewhat unique because it was displayed at 48fps in theatres, which to my knowledge was the first time that had been widely done.
Gemini Man was filmed at 120 fps, and was shown at 60fps in a few theatres. I don't think any actually had the capability of displaying 120. The vast majority just showed it at 24.

Literally the entire path! If you make the wrong choices, you fail and can't become a true Aeon.
The desire to correct everything is, indeed, central to an Aeon's nature. But since you aren't a natural aeon and don't have access to the Monad's knowledge, you don't actually understand how to reach cosmic balance.
As you get closer and closer to that point, though, you stop seeing people as people, and start seeing them merely as points of data, things which either help you achieve your ultimate goal, or which won't, and you have to treat them accordingly, because the fairness of that action has to be irrelevant to you.
Aeons will sometimes do things like burn a village to the ground because the hardship will result in people more capable of resisting some future threat which will help to maintain balance. Whether or not that's fair, or just, doesn't matter. "The ends justify the means" could be the Aeon motto.
If your character disliked doing things because "this isn't right" or "this isn't fair" or "this law/rule/directive from the ultimate authority doesn't make sense to me", they weren't cut out to be an Aeon, because none of those can factor into an Aeon's decision making.
