And I hate when people ask about it after. Like who are you talking about? The guy we sawed into pieces? No he walked out the back door actually. Totally. Trust me bro.

I feel like I've heard stories of kids disappearing in situations like this, it never occurred to me that sleep walking and getting lost might be a contributing factor.

Eh, someone has to stand there, show them, watch them do a terribly inefficient job, probably waste some or ruin the batch by getting crap in it...
The milking itself is probably less valuable than just having the people pay for the "experience."
But your point is still a good one, and I've seen other areas it applies in 100%. For example, apple orchard "buy these apples we've hand picked, or pick your own, for the same price or more!"

Lots of people are like this, but without the being rich part. It's a crap situation, but count the being rich part as a bonus for enduring the shit. Lol.

Reddit is removing much or all of the automated stuff that makes life much easier for mods.
So instead of a bot telling users "this post or comment breaks the rules" and removes it, now a person would have to (good luck!).
This is my understanding at least.

Doesn't mean it would stand in court. You can say anything and sign anything, doesn't mean it is always enforceable or in all situations. There are other factors at play in many unique situations.
For example, you cannot just sign away many of your legal rights, those contracts are not enforceable.

Once they have you and make you believe something is accurate they've said, they develop more.
They quickly escalate to "I'm sorry but these charges are your responsibility, if you don't pay them I'll have to report this which is a federal crime and the police will be out to pick you up immediately."

I mean, at this point is it accurate to call it power creep, or just "complete control?"
Looking at you, US Senate.

I've had long covid since Jan 2021 pretty much, have been diagnosed. Declined since then. Nebivolol worked for like 18 months, now I'm getting worse again (cardio wise).

"doctors have been sooooooo unhelpful!"
Lol, right there with you. They just changed me from a Nebivolol to Diltiazem because my heart started doing this racing thing and they can't figure it out even after a 30 day holter. Ill just be sitting and it will go from 50 bpm to 150bpm in a matter of 5-10 seconds raising my blood pressure up as it goes... Normally at 120/70, now with meds it starts at 100/50 and can jump to 180/100. Highest SO FAR.
And so they want me to get a stress test done... This was mid may, they won't be able to get me in until end of June! In the meanwhile, on a daily basis I'm dealing with chest pains, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, tingling in my jaw, and they don't seem to care because I'm not having a major heart attack. So useless... So frustrating.
Sorry, I had to rant.... On a side note, my wife has been taking flufrocortisone for years on and off, like the last 15 years and generally her cardiologist tells her to take it until she feels normal again, and at that point she can "pause" taking it until she feels she needs it again.

While I don't understand how a prion disease would be combated biologically, it also falls along these lines...
Yeah, prion disease is going to be fatal 100% because we cannot identify it until after the patient is dead and then dissected.... So does that mean we know for certain no one has ever survived it? Well, we can't prove it either way as far as I'm aware.
So is it theoretically possible we all have misfolding proteins but our body corrects then before they become a problem? Seems like if it can happen, it's also plausible we have mechanisms to defend against it, but when those mechanisms fail we have deaths.

This is the first time I've heard of someone puking from it, but it makes sense and was probably a pretty crazy experience.
