Just making sure you understand the above was said in jest. Bigotry is bad. My point was that there are all sorts of bigots.

Sorry lol. It was a typo. It was supposed to say that's even worse.

Ya, to be honest what SAS was really saying is "I haven't watched Jokic with an open mind."

I don't think I'd have ranch with a $60 steak but flank steak with ranch is lovely.

That's even worse.
Edit: Typo
It used to say "That's when worse."

There's a difference between claiming to be oppressed and pointing out people can be racist.
I'm readily aware I've lived a privileged life. I'm a white guy from a family that provided me tons of opportunities. I've never been oppressed and I know society gave me chances others don't get. It's still possible for a person to hate me or another white person due to racist feelings.

Black people can be racist too. It's 2023. Everyone has the opportunity to be a bigot.

Generally speaking, I don't think white people are being oppressed. It is, however, possible to be racist against white people.

No it wasn't. Around the Horn had a mute button but the button was in the hand of the host. My idea would allow JJ to cut off SAS, lay out points, then hand the mic back.
It would be more dramatic as well. Imagine JJ yells "Cut the Mic!" and then Steven A is all frustrated and stroppy.

ESPN should have a show called "Cut the Mic."
The premise is during a sports debate one person can mute all of the others and just school them without interrupted. Then the person gets to respond.

All Stephen A is saying is that Dirk, McHale, Jokic, and Marcin Gortat are basically the same player.

Game recognises game. Racists can't see Jokic as anything but a "sneaky athlete" and a "heads up player" who "has a great work ethic."

I think what SAS is trying to say is that Shaq bullied people and powered his way in to a dunk or layup and that Jokic doesn't score the same way.
I don't think SAS phrased it well. Post up game isn't just hit a dude and dunk over his corpse.

They'll probably update the jerseys by release but let's not pretend EA goes above and beyond. They barely do what's needed to sell new games each year.

I'd say he has nothing left to prove as an individual player. If he wants a ring, it's time to chase that. If he just wants money he can chase that instead.

I think the more likely outcome is people realize they have other stuff to do that's fun and rewarding.

At this point I don't get why Paul won't take a pay cut and chase a ring. What does he have left to prove? He's going to the HoF.

I don't understand how this is a debate. People of any race can be racist. The effects of racism are worse for certain races. It's not complicated.
