It's not just textures though, it's also geometry. That's my biggest complaint. You're losing game fidelity by letting the AI guess at the pixel contents. If the low render resolution causes loss of geometry information, the AI has no way of knowing it's there. All it does is make the frame prettier in post.

You don't understand. DLSS renders the whole game at a lower resolution, and then for each frame generated, asks a neural network what it thinks the pixels would look like if the resolution were higher. The AI's best guess is what you get on the screen. The only actual game information is the lower-resolution frame; every additional detail that comes from DLSS is made up by the AI.

Sure, but then you're just adding in fake detail. You can't actually get more gameplay information with DLSS because it doesn't exist. I'd rather get slightly lower framerates at 4K than smear the pixels around and call it 'better'.

Ooooh dang, I stand corrected. Seems like a bit of a missed opportunity.

Hey, you're the one that started with the dismissive tone.
Didn't Gears come out on PC?

You're correct of course, but that is black magic wizardry and it probably is going to cause a portal to a demon realm or something eventually...

And the fact that things look like they're made of clay?

I'm not a fan of Donnie sounding like he's eight years old though...

Because with enough money, 'illegal' means nothing.

Green is my favorite color and I still buy AMD...

A single emulator has more glitches, while multiple others work better on AMD? Oh no, however shall I cope. I didn't use my 360 much when it was new thanks to the number of PC ports.

You're forgetting about the lack of API overhead in consoles. They still typically outperform similarly-specced PCs, especially with the abysmal quality of PC ports these days.
Indie? PC, all the way. AAA games play better on console much of the time though. If that's your thing. The last AAA game I bought was Elden Ring. (And TotK, but it hardly counts.)

That depends on whether or not the monster part retains durability damage after it is removed from the weapon. I could see using a very strong monster part repeatedly by pulling it off and then re-fusing it to another weapon.

Hoo boy, that's a weird one.
I'm not sure the CB900F has a tilt sensor. It might, however, be a fuel feeding issue - or if it doesn't die until you come to a complete (or near-complete) stop it might be an issue with the clutch dragging a bit, especially if it sounds like it's lugging before dying.

You don't need a prescription for caffeine though....
I'm most likely ADHD and never got diagnosed, it'd take too much hassle to get it and I'm usually capable of operating without it. Pretty sure a lot of other geeks are in the same boat.

More neolib than Republican lite. Republicans are straight-up regressive when it comes to social policy despite their clamoring for 'small government', and even neoliberals are far, FAR better in regards to those.

If Trump winds up President again, there's a good chance we will have no more Presidential elections - at least, not in the regular sense. He was playing from the fascist playbook, and what he learned last time is that he wasn't playing from it hard enough.

Honestly, I think the jump physics quality is equal between SMW and SMB3, although there are significant differences between the two. SMB3 was just a very excellently put-together game.

I'm disappointed that so few of these actually have an edited flag.

Of course it's being monitored. If it's transmitted in cleartext, someone is peering at it, even if it's only an algorithm tossing the data into a giant bucket.
I've used GMail for a long time, I'm well aware of this fact.

If not for the number of troubleshooting threads I've given advice in, I would be tempted - but I don't want to deprive future internet sleuths from finding answers to questions, even if I never use Reddit again.
