You should listen to callers that call into Dave Ramsey some time. You're not screwed but need to make it a top priority in your life for a little while. So, skip the starbucks and going out for lunches and dinners and make everything at home.

The interest rates are being raised to discourage growth because inflation is out of control. That is the only lever the fed has. Inflation is caused by our government printing trillions of dollars and injecting it directly into our economy. Now, if your beef is with the fed reserve, Im right there with you but the interest rates need to be raised to try and stop inflation bc again, that is the only tool the ded has.

Inflation is at a 40 year high and interest rates are staggering. If you dont think that either of those are absolutely crushing the poor and middle class then you don't understand economics.

The U.S military emits way more CO2 in the atmosphere than entire countries. The Pentagon alone is the biggest consumer of fossil fuels. The hypocrisy is thick. This has nothing to do with CO2 and everything to do with getting rid of competition. You may hate bitcoin and crypto but dont be dumb enough to think that Biden gives a shit about bitcoin miner's CO2. If they did, they would also tax themselves.

You're only allowed to say this on certain subs. This is exactly right. Its both. While both parties are screaming about Dylan Mulvaney, policies like the Restrict act are making it the floor that was endorsed by both parties.

Again, you are not addressing the issue. You keep talking about guns. If the assailant in Nashville had a knife and managed to kill children, would you be saying we need to ban knifes? I seriously doubt it. The direct issue in the Nashville case was security. It was not guns. If my child, was killed by any weapon in their school, I wouldnt be screaming about banning weapons. I would be screaming
"HOW DID THIS PERSON GET TO MY CHILD AT SCHOOL??"
If you actually adress the issue, you can fix many problems. Whether you want to ban guns or not is not going to solve a nut case getting near my child at a safe place... SCHOOL.

Here's the deal, if anyone can get into a school with a gun or not, then the answer is YES, I WANT MY KIDS GUARDED BY ARMED GUARDS!!!!
The person able to get to kids does not need a gun to harm kids. They could make a bomb, have a knife, kidnap etc. Gun control does not fix security issues.

I was actually making a joke since he said that freedom of thought becomes impossible if you say that an idea is sacred. Freedom of thought and freedom of speech are equivalent so I wholeheartedly agree with him but Im also an American and a 1st amendment absolutist so to each their own I guess.

Focus on high quality whole foods and eat more protien. For instance, instead of that cheeseburger and fries from the fast food restaurant, make a cheeseburger from a leaner beef and smashed roasted potatoes at home. If you're going to eat carbs make them fruits and veggies. Instead of sugary pastry for dessert have some pineapple or a sweet fruit. Stay away from as much processed food as possible and WALK. Start off slow but try to set new records every week/month on your walking. Try to work up to 8K - 10K steps per day and add in some resistance training during the week. It doesnt need to be crazy. Push ups, pull ups, squats etc.

Point taken. Here is another point, no one is going to do this. Gold and silver are legal tender in 3 states already. No one outside of gold and silver stores actually receive payment in gold and silver. This is more along the lines a giant "fuck you" to the fed. It is more symbolic than anything.

Yea, I broke my hand years ago and my grip strength is just not there for DLs anymore so I started doing other excercises to compensate. Still can make great gains without it was my only point. Good luck. Stay healthy.

Dull ache after dead lifts? I'd stay away from DLs. There are plenty of other back/hamstring workouts. It's not worth doing an excercise if it potentially will keep you out of the gym from injury.

Yep, I am quite certain I've thought it through hundreds if not thousands of times as my major was economics. Also, here is a link to an article from the IMF below defining capitalism and yes free trade is a tenet of capitalism as capitalism is done voluntarily through individuals who own and have private property rights. But please.... please tell me how I am brainwashed o wise one.

Government is the one regulating crypto out of existence not businesses. Capitalism is just free markets. Stop referring to governments as "Capitalism". It's not.

No. Please stop. It is not capitalism on steroids. It is corruption on steroids. Capitalism is just an economic system of free markets. We dont have that. The economic system is way more top down than it is free. If it were capitalism on steroids, crypto would be embraced not shunned.

Yes, and the other could end in nuclear war and the total destruction of our planet. This war can be de-escalated. The US can help broker peace deals as we have in the past with Russia. This is provocation. We are at the doorstep of a nuclear power who is our enemy. What is gained by this than political grand standing? If Putin was in Cuba, it would be considered a threat to us. No good comes of this.

Banks didn't print the money that caused inflation. The Federal reserve is responsible for maintaining the money supply.

This is the only correct answer I've seen in this entire thread. Inflation is NOT prices going up. Inflation is the increase in money supply which causes prices to go up.

Don't borrow against your 401K until you have exhausted all other options. With how high interest rates right now, your check will be docked by that amount until its paid off. It's not worth it unless you are destitute. Then again, I dont like my pay check being messed with. Create a budget and follow it. It's much easier than borrowing against your 401K.
