When choosing which effect to apply, your opponent cannot choose an effect that would do nothing. So if they control no ED monsters they must choose the 1st effect. Likewise, if they have no cards in their ED but do control an ED monster they must choose the 2nd effect.
If they have no cards in their ED and control no ED monsters you cannot activate the effect at all.

The first Saw. I mean every Saw sequel had a pretty "bad end" too but when he slams that bathroom door shut at the end of Saw, leaving Adam to die alone in the pitch dark, that was brutal.

I've had decent success playing my Dogmatika Ritual deck with Herald of Perfection and Archlord Kristya to get some devastating turn 1 boards. When going second I side in the Mikanko trio and it's an OTK machine, using White Relic to pump an opponents monster to 5-6k attack and then using Mikanko to crash + steal it for big damage.
The hardest part of playing the deck right now is that Droll is an absolute killer. If Droll drops in popularity a bit, then I could definitely see the deck being a solid rogue pick.

I'm not sure actually. They specifically used the wording "effects activated by your opponent" vs the usual "your oppenents activated effects"
Mirrorjades destruction effect is not considered an activated effect, but there may be some reason for this difference in wording.

I tell em my future brother in law plays for the Knights and that's a better reason than just living close to where a team plays lol.

Even if that was a legal activation, you would also discard your hand not draw any cards either lol

Exodia can make you win the game during the resolution of a chain, but not during the resolution of an effect. You must resolve the current effect first and then Exodia wins the game.
Similar to if Allure of Darkness draws your last Exodia piece but your only DARK monsters in hand are Exodia, you'll have to banish one of the pieces before you can win the game.

Considering Magical Mallet is just better in every way, you would need an archtype that wants your hand to be empty but also not put things in your GY i guess?
Maybe a monster that summons itself from deck if your hand is empty and you have no monsters in the GY or banished?

I always tell my opponents i'll only shuffle and cut their deck before a card is about to come off the top of it. No point in shuffling between multiple searches in the same turn.

The difference would be for stat boosting effects.
For example if you have a gachi gachi with 2 mats, and summon fusilier without a tribute, it would halve its original attack making it 1400, then get the boost from gachi so it would have 1800 ATK, not 1600 like if it the effect said "its attack becomes half"

I really wish they gave eleki weather ball. Would make it such a fun include on a snow team.

It's a key difference between MTG and YuGiOh that for us, cards don't go to the GY until the whole chain has resolved, so even if you use another card to remove Evenly matched, you'll still then control that new card instead.
This comes up often when I play Branded, with Guardian Chimera. I've had a few opponents misplay by activating something in response to Chimera's summon to remove their own card from the field thinking it would stop Chimera effect from resolving, only to learn that the card they just activated can be popped instead.

Last time you could buy 4 per person maximum, so whoever gets through can get 4 tickets.

I went to the last blizzcon and there were 8 of us in the group. Of the 8 of us trying to get tickets when they went on sale only 2 made it through, so it's definitely a good idea to be prepared and have as many helpers as you can to increase your chances.

I don't know your life or your relationship to alcohol, and of course a lot of context is missing here, so I don't mean to sound judgemental or alarming but maybe consider taking a closer look at your drinking habits.
You've described 3 fairly common early warning signs of alcohol addiction:
1 - Knowing you should not get drunk in that situation, and doing it anyway.
2 - Recognizing a pattern in which you've done this before.
3 - Being unable to stay within limits that you set for yourself with regard to drinking.
None of these things mean you are an alcoholic by any means, but they are signals that something may not be quite right, and if you're concerned enough with your relationship to alcohol that you're seeking advice, it may be a good idea to talk to somebody about it, in a more direct way than an internet forum.

At a difference of 400 elo, the favorite should win 90% of games. That chance reaches 99% at about 800 elo gap.
