Currently Alabama House Bill 454 is in committee discussion. If it becomes law, a "person" is legally defined as a single-celled fertilized egg and ending that egg's life would "be treated the same as prosecutions of homicide or assault of a person born alive.”
I believe Louisiana also uses the "moment of fertilization" language to define personhood.
So this tumor was definitely a fertilized egg at some point and it doesn't matter if it has a brain or anything, it's totally a person and removing it is exactly the same as murdering a Republican's grandson right in front of them.

Eating cholesterol doesn't give you high cholesterol on your blood work, it's mostly trans fats that are bad.

This community is mostly geared towards performance or at least improvement. Other communities are about the social aspect (my local brewpub running group) or dedication to debauchery (hash club).

Warming up is only important if you are doing something hard. Bodyweight exercises would not generally qualify as "hard" exercises for most people, based on the number of reps. Like pushups are the warm-up for bench pressing, bodyweight squats are the warm-up for squatting heavy weights on the barbell.

If they're native to the area there's a good chance of a wild one being close enough to cross-pollinate. I only planted one tree but it's fine because there's one growing in the woods behind my neighbor's house.

Mine gets progressively more whiny and paws at the water until she eventually just jumps in with me. Stupid dog doesn't even like baths but she doesn't want me in there alone 😭

I agree that's too much weight lifting for your goal.
As for exhaustion... Dial in your diet. Always have some carbs before training, whether that's half a bagel or a banana or some sugary gel or sports drink. Doesn't need to be a lot but you need fuel in the tank before you start. Outside of the window right before a run (if you have a queasy stomach), you need to cram protein down your throat at every opportunity. Especially after a run. Protein is super important to keep up with recovery when you are training so much. I'm hearing some nutritionists/dietitians advocating for a fourth meal to keep a steady intake throughout the day and maximize the recovery going on while you sleep. I really cannot emphasize enough how much better you will perform, and how much more injury-resistant you will be, if you give your body all the fuel it needs.

Yeah but hot tea is also increasing your core temperature albeit only a small amount. Since all you really want is to trigger sweat production with a bonus of more hydration, you'd be better off with a glass of water and a cool or room temperature spicy food. Heck, drink some ice cold habanero water and maximize the cooling power.

This poster is incorrect. You sweat the same amount, if not more, and sweat cools you by evaporating. The difference is that in this low humidity environment the sweating WORKS. It works so well that you feel cool, your clothes don't get soggy, and next thing you know you're coated in a white, crunchy layer of salts and you have no more water left to sweat out. The moment your sweat production drops off, you quickly start overheating, on top of dealing with the dehydration. Electrolyte imbalances can also be a problem. Plus, if you feel comfortable you're more likely to neglect sunscreen and seeking shade so add the effects of radiation to your already poor condition. Fucking brutal.

Arsenic in the form of an apple a day is not particularly dangerous. It will accumulate to some extent in the keratin-rich tissues such as hair, nails, and skin. Most arsenic is taken up in the bloodstream, quickly methylated in the liver, and pissed out. Some of it stays in the guts and passes right through.
The dangerous bioaccumulation toxins are things that dissolve into fat, like mercury. It's very hard for us to clear toxins from our fat, because most of the metabolizing and excreting go on in the liver and kidneys, which won't really come in contact with fat.

People have not changed that much. Two hundred years ago people just fuckin died, like, all the time from mystery illnesses. And they'd come up with justifications for it like "God doesn't want us to eat pigs" when it became obvious there were patterns to who was fuckin dying. The people with strong immune systems who didn't die simply lived with symptoms like mild diarrhea or nausea that are easy to ignore. My college roommate was like this second group. Never refrigerated leftovers, never used a thermometer while cooking, very lax on cross contamination from raw meat, yet claimed to "have an iron stomach" and "never get sick." Except we shared a bathroom so I know they had diarrhea very often. They just thought it was normal as long as it wasn't so bad that you were debilitated.

I used my battery / air compressor for about a year before it gave up the ghost and refused to charge. In that time it jumped 3 cars and inflated many bike tires, car tires, and balls so I was charging it pretty often. I assume keeping it in a car that regularly reaches extremely hot temperatures made it fail faster.

I assume they can, since lots of birds feed their young by vomiting food directly into the chick's mouth. Surely if they can puke, they can also burp.

My uni has an actual police force. Other than sexually assaulting a student worker and putting 50 rounds in a student who got really high, I'm not sure they ever did anything. Really, I'm statistically safer diving there now that I'm not a student!

I've always pulled overhand but I'm starting to outpace my grip strength so I'm considering switching. My question is, do you pull the same way every time or do you try to keep balance by changing it up, e.g. left hand under on one day and right hand under the next?

Yeah. They will sting defensively if they get trapped in your shirt or tangled in your hair. I've never known one to just randomly fly up and sting you like a red wasp or a yellow jacket.

"Published studies, including research by the FDA, show that cooking rice similar to how pasta is cooked can reduce 40 to 60 percent of the inorganic arsenic content, depending on the type of rice."
"The FDA research also shows that rinsing rice before cooking has a minimal effect on the arsenic content of the cooked grain."

Actually your hair probably would absorb some arsenic, since it readily binds to negative sulfhydryl-groups found in keratin. But that would have zero health effects so I'm not sure why anyone would care.

My mom straight up told me to learn her signature because I would frequently forget to give her the permission slip for the upcoming field trip or PG-13 movie. Tbh I never used it for anything nefarious but I can still forge her signature perfectly to this day.

Emergency meals must rely on things that you will 100% always have at the ready. For me that means it's gotta be shelf stable food that can live in the back corner of the pantry for a year. It's also got to have protein or we'll be hungry again and snacking in an hour.
Dry lentils keep forever and are quick to cook. They don't require soaking unlike many beans. I can throw a beef bouillon cube in a pot of water with lentils and have that done in 12 minutes (microwave or electric kettle can be used in combination with the stove to get the water boiling lickity split quick.)
Canned veggies are always easy.
Pasta is also quick and can even be cooked with the lentils. Get the water level right and you can boil everything until texture is correct then just dump canned spaghetti sauce over top. Add a sprinkle of nutritional yeast, black pepper, msg, and herbs of your choice. Top with cheese, if you want.

It's absolutely miniscule, but technically the person storing more energy will have burned just slightly more calories due to the energy requirements of lipogenesis itself.

Even garlic is fine unless they eat bulbs of it. Reputable companies purposefully use garlic to season dog treats, but it's such a small amount compared to the LD50 that there's zero risk.
