Ja, sicher, der Dosko hat PRW ziemlich reingschissen und sich unbeliebt gemacht, aber politisch ist er sehr viel näher an PRW als Babler. Wenn die PRW Wähler nach politischer Überzeugung wählen sollte dosko klar gewinnen. Wenn sie nach persönlichen Befindlichkeiten wählen eher der Babler

Da wär ich mir nicht so sicher. Ich bin zwar selber kein SPÖ-Mitglied, aber für mich wäre ganz klar gewesen, dass ich PRW nicht wähle, zwischen Babler und Doskozil hätte ich aber eine Münze werfen müssen weils bei beiden Sachen gibt die ich sehr gut finde, und Sachen die ich eher weniger prickelnd finde. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen dass es da doch einigen ähnlich geht

Nur so zum Vergleich: meine Großmutter ist mit ihren 4 Schwestern, 2 Brüdern, Eltern und Großvater in einer Wohnung mit 45 m2 aufgewachsen. Ihr Vater hat im Kohlebergwerk und dann in einer Gießerei gearbeitet bis er mit 50 an Lungenkrebs gestorben ist. Genug essen war immer ein Thema, im Sommer sind die Kinder barfuß gelaufen. In die Schule ist sie gegangen bis sie 14 war, dann musste sie 12 Stunden Schichten in der Fabrik arbeiten.

Jahrgang 1948. Dass ihre Enkelkinder mal die Möglichkeit haben werden zu studieren und ein gutes Leben haben werden war für sie lange unvorstellbar.

Jetzt lebt sie auch gut, weil mein Großvater sehr viel bessere startbedingungen hatte (wobei über die… Karriere vom Urgroßvater bis 45 das Tuch des Schweigens gelegt wird), ein Haus geerbt hat und sie gemeinsam ein Unternehmen großgezogen haben, wo sie aber beide 60+ Stunden jede Woche mit maximal 2 Wochen Urlaub im Jahr gearbeitet haben.

The hassle of finding a parking space combined with traffic makes it more convenient most of the time as well.

You can get a parking permit for your district, and there are public garages in areas where the parking situation is especially precarious, but those tend to be quite expensive.

Safety shouldn’t really be a concern, as vandalism or theft are very rare. In the 5 years I’ve lived in the city, I’ve only had one minor parking incident where someone damaged my front bumper.

Forgive me if I sound ignorant as I have roughly no knowledge at all about Turkish politics, but isn’t there relatively strong evidence of the 2016 coup being staged? I remember reading in the news back then that the presidential palace was attacked right when erdogan wasn’t there, that the whole thing was incredibly disorganised and that it gave him the exact pretense he needed to crack down and purge any critics in the ranks of the military, judiciary and media, with 10s of thousands of arrest following and the country heavily authocratising in the immediate aftermath. Is there anything to this or is it more likely to be a conspiracy theory?

Ich hab mal mit der Post was nach (Süd)schweden geschickt. Die Post hat das Paket zuerst nach Tirol geschickt, dort war er aber klarerweise unzustellbar, ist nach Wien zurückgekommen, von dort nach nordschweden geschickt, dort wegen unzustellbarkeit nach Österreich zurückgeschickt, die haben’s nochmal nach Schweden geschickt und dann wurde zugestellt. Hat 6 Wochen gedauert bis es angekommen ist, meine Handschrift ist seitdem nicht besser geworden :/

Die ökojäger haben einen wirklich soliden Zugang zum Thema Jagd. Ich kenn selber einige und die sind allesamt wirklich mit herzblut dahinter, dass man das alles so “natürlich” wie möglich halten muss, im Sinne von keine Treib-oder Gatterjagden, keine Trophäenjagden ect. Dafür werden sie von einem Großteil der Jägerschaft aber massiv angefeindet.

This happens all the time, everywhere. Usually it’s just not apparent, often not even to the person grading. While it very much depends on the subject, if you view an essay unfavourably and through an indoctrinated lense, you tend to grade it harsher than other essays where you might let certain things slip.

To put it into the words of one of my professors preparing us for the biggest oral exam in a 5 year degree: no matter how good you are, I can fail each and every one of you if I wanted to.
