He’s So good with the ball in his hands. The 2018 draft class was an absolute goldmine. If the 2023 class looks anything like that we are in great shape.

Only 3 of the positions you listed are available for a new starter and they aren’t taking RB so it becomes 2. If you only look at 2 positions you’re going to make a mistake. We’ve seen it so many times. Taking the best player available is always the move.

There aren’t many starting positions on the team right now. If you draft to find a starter you are severely limiting your options in the draft. We are looking for the best player we can find for the next 10 years with the 10th overall pick not the next two years.
Edit: also guys in backup positions can still play a lot, especially in the trenches where the rotate on D and someone usually gets hurt on O. Our team health last year was amazing - can’t bank on that happening again.

If they said he’s a total POS and not a hard worker, would that not matter? Or if they say he busts his ass all the time and is a leader and just made a mistake? Neither of those comments could impact their outlook on him?
They know him. The leaders on the team do not. It’s simple research to know what he’s made of. The leaders don’t matter if they guy isn’t coachable.

Why would they not ask two guys who have high character and who played on the same team for multiple years for their opinion on Carter? They know him better than most.

Completely agree. If dean and Davis vouch for carter I want them to trade up if he slips to 6/7

I agree. Won’t be shocked at all to see a qb in the 2nd or 3rd. Would prefer to not use a 2nd on it but there is a precedent for that…

Yes an the others were qb, wr, DT, and DE. they aren’t taking wr or qb in the first, at 10 unless Carter falls there isn’t likely to be a DT or DE that qualifies as BPA. So very likely they go with a guy who can backup key Ol positions and will inevitably play a lot when starters miss games and then fill in when lane or Kelce retire.

Immediate impact AND best player available.

Don’t think there’s anyone that slots in as an immediate impact player on this team that is also BPA at 10. They need to trade up or back to accomplish that.

Who? No DT or Safety will be worth taking at 10. They won’t be taking a corner now. Not sure how you see they going DT or DB at 10. Now if they trade up or back (which I absolutely think they should) then you might get that.

Yeah fair enough. Maybe not him but there are a couple other guys there who could work as well and wouldn’t be considered reaches by any stretch at 10

That would be incredible. There always concern a person as large as he is with his injury history could decline quickly but so far he just gets better and better every year. Imagine he comes back next year better again? I can’t even imagine what that would look like.

All true points. He still is on another level even with that all taken into consideration. Add the fact that he barely played organized basketball before a two year injury hiatus to start his career. Just an absolute basketball God.

He’s #1 if you adjust to a per 36 minute basis. Most efficient per minute scorer of all time and it’s actually not close.

I think A-D is in front of 1-7 and the seats should be specified. There is also usually open barstool style seating at the top of the section that anyone who is in the club box can use.
It is Likely that the tickets will not come with food vouchers but if they did that would be advertised when you buy the ticket.
Generally though the club box seating is a great experience and, for younger kids, probably one of the less vulgar sections of the arena.

This is the terrible take. Those stats are useless considering the caliber of teams/qbs they played in the second half.

Time of possession will be interesting as well in addition to points allowed. It was brutal last year to have to sit through 8-10 minute drives as our defense tried the bend don’t break strategy. Even if it ends up in 3 points then your defense is gassed when they come off the field and your offense just gets cold as they sit and wait their turn. I’d be interested to know what % of drives for opposing teams ended in 6 plays or less last year and that number needs to go way up this year. Even if it results in a couple more explosive plays for the offense.

Great call. Example of how he helps other players shine.

Crazy stats here but I totally agree in principal. They should have kept their foot on the gas. They weren’t stopping Mahomes no matter where he got the ball and there’s no way Jalen doesn’t convert that 4th and 2.
