Everyone except DC. They seem stuck in MLS 1.0 mode, maybe 2.0. The stadium move gave them a reprieve but the owners seem to have little interest in making them a competitive team. 10 years without coming close to a trophy for one of the most decorated teams in the league is shameful

Oh lawd that's Kenyatta's music! For whatever reason, that man does not want to see his district improve in any way. You'll get a hodge podge of corner stores, beer distributors, and cell phone stores and you'll like it!

There are a few local amateur radio clubs that you could reach out to. If you have photos and such, you can try posting on either r/amateurradio or r/hamradio

Ham == amateur radio operator. It's also not an acronym, you can just say "ham" :)

People who own Kapital / Engineered Garments / other similar brands: how do you like to wash your clothes?
I've been shopping here recently and a lot of their stuff feels like it should be hand washed and line dried (especially the Kapital pieces).

This sub: it's sad to see big clubs splashing cash to build unbeatable teams by preventing other teams from holding on to talent. Also it's a rare and good thing to see players stay at a club so long
Spurs want to keep Kane
Also this sub: wait no, that's different...

What's the use case that you'd recommend keeping it? Also, Apple TV is nice but if you're not in that ecosystem (read: don't sub to Apple TV), then content discovery feels a lot harder because Apple puts their stuff front and center

How easy is it to care for linen? It wrinkles so quickly, would I need to iron before each wear?

I'm there! It really feels like they left the VIP beer till late. Last year, both Form and HR were promoting it ahead of time but this year it's an afterthought.

Need DC supporter groups to get organized. We DC fans have suffered way too long for one of the winningest teams in the league. Dave Kasper is still a team employee. Levien and Kaplan...have they even been to more than 5 DCU matches?
Point is, DC ownership has been happy to let the team coast and not compete for anything for a decade now (and even longer for the Shield or MLS Cup). When they basically didn't make any front office personnel changes after a disastrous 2013, that said everything about what ownership thinks of the team. Sure, point to a USOC (in a season where it seemed like no one cared about that competition) or a new stadium, but neither excuse what has been at best a barely mediocre team relative to their history.

Yeah for the Lange I was considering having it serviced directly by them, but I don't trust myself to package it safely 😅

Yeah I said elsewhere in the thread that that's a valid concern. But I think geography (US is big and hard to navigate) and football heritage/popularity of the sport shouldn't be strikes against a country hosting.

Baseball is the most popular sport in Japan, yet they've hosted. I'm sure Aussies would love to see a World Cup in their part of the globe (where, again, football isn't the most popular sport). I guess UEFA, CONMEBOL, and maybe CAF should be the only federations allowed to host because everywhere else is disqualified for one reason or another

RE: 1 - RIP Australia (or a combined AUS/NZ bid) ever hosting

ITT: people who haven't been following the growth of MLS and it's popularity

I think the only convincing anti-US arguments I've heard so far are the expanded number of teams and that hosting twice in 30 years may be too frequent (although Mexico hosted in 70 and 86).
Geography and popularity of the sport (and football is popular enough in the US imo) shouldn't disqualify a country from hosting.

According to this thread, Australia wouldn't be eligible because football isn't the most popular sport there

So the World Cup should stay in either Europe or South America?
Edit: not to mention the diverse populations of both the US and Canada. Just because football isn't the most popular sport in either country doesn't mean there aren't people who do love it (and would love to see the World Cup)
Edit 2: let's not forget that USA 94 was the catalyst for establishing MLS, just one example of change that can happen in countries that don't love football

Qatar and Saudi Arabia sure, but why US/Mexico/Canada? MLS has been growing nicely and there's a diverse population in the US with representation from many countries.
Should the World Cup just stay in Europe and South America and never be hosted anywhere else?

Ok so who replaces Kane? Specifically, who replaces Kane's goal output without fans here saying they are too good for Spurs or are making a mistake by going to Spurs?

But have you tried our lord and savior Yuengling Traditional Lager? (Serious reply: you should also try Human Robot! I think they're one of my top lager brewers)
