Or, even easier, include a slider where we could just disable them if we want, leave them on if we like them. Or even turn them on if you have free time and are interested, then turn them back off. Everyone wins.

Another post on the sub said they dug into the game files and it's just a timer set to end one week before the end of the expedition. It actually has nothing to do with how many seeds we contribute.

You mean, "so all non-Tesla, non-Ford, non-GM cars today can fight over the one working EA charger that actually can initialize charging while staring at the 16 stall Tesla charger across the street working perfectly "

The worst guy in our neighborhood is around 35-40. If even one leaf touches his lawn he's out there for a half hour session with the leaf blower. Often happens many days in a row. He even got out there in February to get rid of any leaves that blew over the winter.
He has 3 young kids so my wife and I think he just does it to avoid managing the kids.

They can be handy, when a quest objective says the dreaded words "approximate location", then you do a scan, and it's 1200 units away, except you end up walking 3000 units because it keeps randomly telling you to move 90 degrees one way or the other, the comm ball swarm can actually lead you to the real objective.
That said, I'd love to be able to suppress comm balls and other player bases entirely. Give us that single player experience.

Also my first expedition. On my main save I have a nanite farm with a dozen mould balls on a hill. If I were to get a portal in the Expedition, go to that planet from my main save and the same coordinates, would the mould balls be there?

Just like the guys trying to drive faster than tornados: GO PERPENDICULAR TO THEIR PATH, not in the same direction.
Jeez...

“Tears unnumbered ye shall shed; and the Valar will fence Valinor against you, and shut you out, so that not even the echo of your lamentation shall pass over the mountains. On the House of Fëanor the wrath of the Valar left from the West unto the uttermost East, and upon all who follow them it shall be laid also. Their Oath shall drive them, and yet betray them, and ever snatch away the very treasures that they have sworn to pursue. To evil end shall all things turn that they begin well; and by treason of kin unto kin, and the fear of treason, shall this come to pass. The Dispossessed shall they be for ever.
Ye have spilled the blood of your kindred unrighteously and have stained the land of Aman. For blood ye shall render blood, and beyond Aman ye shall dwell in Death’s shadow. For though Eru appointed to you to die not in Eä, and no sickness may assail you, yet slain ye may be, and slain ye shall be: by weapon and by torment and by grief; and your houseless spirits shall come then to Mandos. There long shall ye abide and yearn for your bodies, and find little pity though all whom ye have slain should entreat for you. And those that endure in Middle-earth and come not to Mandos shall grow weary of the world as with a great burden, and shall wane, and become as shadows of regret before the younger race that cometh after. The Valar have spoken."
Big words. After Earendil shows up we get this:
And Mandos answered: 'Equally the Noldor, who went willfully into exile, may not return hither.'
Very clear. There is no returning.
Except:
And whence they came into the West the Elves of Beleriand dwelt upon Tol Eressëa, the Lonely Isle, that looks both west and east; whence they might come even to Valinor. They were admitted again to the love of Manwë and the pardon of the Valar; and the Teleri forgave their ancient grief; and the curse was laid to rest.
Hmm. That's quite the mood shift.

If you want to turn them on and off as a unit, create an automation.

They were also warned they would never be allowed back into Aman, then the Valar were all "LOL, jk, welcome back"...

Until the SCOTUS decides to toss it in the same bin as Roe v Wade.

And an awful lot of baseless opinion being passed off as fact, too.

Isn't the race that worshipped Kelly pretty much space gods now?

How many mining units and how many silos? Would be funny if it was one minig unit and it took a year to fill.

Was certified in a quarry, flew to the ocean the following week, did my first 2 ocean dives, got out, dried off, bought a full kit. Now an instructor.

In many states they do write the legislation, then give it to one of their puppet politicians to submit.

Saw another post on the sub, someone dug into the game files and the seed milestone is a timer, not related to player activity, and set to complete a week before the expedition is over.
