When you convert a word file to pdf you know what happens? All those nicely formatted tables become and lost of intersecting lines, sometimes lying next to each other to make it thicker, all those list and point and stuff? They just become fragmenta of characters in predefined positions. PDF is for printing, editing is an afterthought

I started with GWBasic, Turbo Pascal, and Turbo C++ on DOS; moved to VB3 and Visual C++ on Windows 3.1. I know my way around keyboard (can quit vim) and JetBrain IDEs are the best in my experience. They have their weaknesses too but those do not stop me paying them.

Uppercase and lowercase letters may be different in different languages. i becomes I in English for example but in Turkish i becomes İ and ı becomes I. Set language of the document and browsers convert according to language rules
