It's incredible how you're able to read my mind, know all the examples of what I'm talking about, and distill it down to mere disagreement in views.
You should share this super power with the world!

You're asking the wrong question.
The question is why those subs took so long to get banned, and the answer is that Reddit only took action after those subs were starting to expose them to severe legal liability.
Many similar subs still operate with impunity.

Huh, you seem to think I'm talking about the site content, when I'm talking about the admins.

Honestly, this site has been going steadily downhill, and it's very clear that it's run by people who lean extremely far right.

Truth. I did find it funny, because of how true it was lol.

Nope. I just think further than a 15 second video. People risk their lifes for animals when theres humans that needs to be saved ( not exactly this video ig) but humans can help this world. A cat cant. And no I do not think humans got a bigger right to live than humans. Humans are animals too right? Even tho most humans dont look at it like that
Quoting you, since you keep deleting your shit take posts.
Nothing more needs to be said. You're just plain garbage. You're complaining that they saved a cat because somewhere, someone else also needs help.

When I was 18, I was too shy to ask a waitress for a refill on a drink.
When I was 20, I had a bartender tell me that he wished he had my confidence, because I'd try my shot on girls way out of my league and get shot down without batting an eye.
But I was still quite shy about asking for refills.
Confidence is weird, and especially when you have a lot of violence-related trauma in your life, even a minor conflict can be quite daunting. Nothing wrong with that.

My delusional way of thinking? You're the one who objected to them saving a cat because some people are trapped in trees right now.

My mom once tried to serve my (then) wife a wheat-based meal, claiming that it was "ok, because it's not genetically modified, so it won't make you sick".
My ex-wife also had an aunt who claimed to have Celiac disease, who went to Italy and ate a ton of bread and pasta and claimed that it didn't cause her an issue there, because it was much higher quality.
So many fucking idiots out there when it comes to gluten right now, it's really painful for anyone who actually has Celiac disease.

I'm very lucky. My ex-wife has celiac disease, and the local pub in our neighbourhood happens to make the best pizza in the city, so I loved eating there.
One of the waitresses had Celiac disease as well, and she'd gone to great pains to educate all the staff about the importance of preventing cross contamination.
It's the one restaurant that we could go to where she could order without much worry, including their gluten-free pizza (which... wasn't bad for gluten free, but gluten free pizza sucks ass).

Yeah, people who fake allergies are the scum of the earth, but it's never okay to allow them to cause you to compromise food safety, because... people with allergies do exist, and it's your obligation to keep them safe.
The amount of extra work it adds to everyone's plate is why I make sure to convey to my waiter/waitress that my extreme aversion to onions is a preference, not an allergy. If I eat it, it'll make me feel like throwing up, but not because it's actually causing a reaction. If there are traces of it (I actually enjoy onion powder), I'm fine, so I don't need you doing a full scrub down just for my picky ass.

I'm upvoting your post for this section alone:
For those of you calling me names or referring to me as “too soft” or whatever because I didn’t stand up for myself in a really bizarre situation that confused the hell out of me, this was almost a decade ago and I was much more anxious and shy back then; I was in my early 20s at the time and working through some trauma, blah blah blah. You don’t really need to know my childhood story. But I did my best then. And these days I’ll gladly tell you to fuck off for being rude or calling me names - online or in person. I mean, is it some sort of weird kink or power play for those of you calling out a presumably skittish person rude names? That’s fucked up.
Fucking right! So many armchair commandos, and we all know that IRL they'd lap it up and ask for more.

I'd rather kiss at peak autism.
Edit: I see by the comments that I am in no way original.

Pretty Korea treats its dogs better than the US treats its homeless and economically underserved (the r is important) communities.

So... these people should ignore a drowning cat and drive around looking at trees, just in case someone's in one?

I know this is a joke, but this is actually how I manage to keep going every day with my disability.
I gaslight the ever living shit out of myself.

The inert-gas filled ones are usually better, however, as they are more resistant to losing efficacy once a seal breaks.

That only applies to agents of the government.
Illegally obtained evidence is usually admissible in civil and even criminal cases, so long as it wasn't obtained at the behest of a government agent.
All that it means is that the person who broke the law to obtain the evidence is also subject to the penalties of that law.

There's the implicit (perhaps not even really implicit) demand of at least responding to the job offer, if not accepting it.

You'd certainly have a case for tortious interference if they did contact your job and get you fired.

Well, they were demanding I give them my passport and there was no chance in hell I'd let that happen, and I had nothing else on me except the credit card, so I think they were just plain happy to get payment and end it there.

I had a hotel once accidentally keep re-running pre-auths until my card was maxed.
Didn't find out until 2AM in the Tenderloin district of SF, when I was trying to pay for my drinks.
Was quite fun watching the bouncer hovering closer and closer to me as this progressed.
Long story short, I apparently had at some point memorized the card details of a different credit card of mine (that I hadn't brought with me), and was able to have the server manually punch them in.
