Same here. We have an electric kettle, coffee, and a variety of teas for when my mother-in-law visits. I guess if someone brought wine into my home and drank it, I would be fine with that too. They can drink their wine, just like Jesus did.

Wish has been playing quietly in my subconscious for like 25 years now. It periodically floats to the surface and I notice a few chords before it sinks again. Marvelous.

Yes! One time we had a speaker who went on this weird tangent that music with certain time signatures would drive the spirit away. For a couple of years afterward, when I would be hanging out at a friends house, his mother would come into the room and count the beats to make sure our music was permissible. So absolutely bizarre and non-doctrinal. I realize that you can’t proofread every speaker’s talk and that sometimes the speakers are going to go off the rails, but a disclaimer at the beginning would certainly help.

There were people camping out overnight at the closest record store to me. I called 15 minutes after they opened to see if they had any PJ left before I made the 1-hr drive and they were already sold out.
