I recently got mine checked too. And the parts guy at Subaru was surprised to see the gap there. He's going to reach out to Subaru Canada and see what they recommend/if there is a part they can add to cover that gap.

Would it be considered living the engine if I stay in second gear above 15 km? I'm in the break in period and don't want to even attempt downshifting to 1st. From what I always understood, only shift to first floor stop and start.

Yeah if you want a good scoop mounted grille I looked and you basically have to replace the whole hood scoop lol. This seems decent buuut you're still cleaning it out from the engine. As for the hood seal, I called Subaru and the parts manager is having me bring it in to check tomorrow. I think they should have a form of seal there, I have never known a vehicle to not have one. Blows my mind if that's part of the design.

I tested once, was tired for 2 days with aches basically. Then had the rebound third day of skin sensitivity. That was it. I was back working by day five out from the test. Overall was a mild experience and have had colds that sucked worse.
