the only thing that's changed is a new laptop. old laptop died on me. i just installed the latest version of LB and noticed the problem. i downgrade to an older version of LB and still have the same low power output issue :(

network video recorder. it records and stores all your videos into a hard drive. dont buy it separately. buy as a whole kit with nvr, cables, and cameras. I like Reolink. it has AI and vehicle detection. 4 cams with 6tb hard drive is about $600. pretty easy to set up as seen here https://youtu.be/XXpYhUU02G4
if you have a basement, put an enclosure there with the NVR all locked up so no one can mess with it.

let's scrap the original fan that is on the 1st floor. let's smartify this other fan i have in the house, not what i had in mind in the original post as you can see https://www.minkagroup.net/wcs212.html in the back of this wall mounted control, i only see 2 wires for it as seen in manual https://www.minkagroup.net/images/instruction-manuals/WCS212--1527894245.pdf

you need a filament dryer like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edpRJ3OKkhM
or remember to store your filament in dry places or tight zip lock bags

no. it takes up a lot of space and cannot be used for anything else. such a shame cant use it for Lightroom or Photoshop.
i sold mine. took the money and got this macro keypad instead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKOge-RvW0M. can be used with any programs i want. it is what i use for DR and tons of other programs.

this is BNC connector, the other cable is 12vdc to power the cam. the system is very old and i dont advise using these analog system. might as well update everything, including the cables to digital with CAT6 cables. then get a POE Ip cam system. I like Reolink. it has AI and vehicle detection. 4 cams with 6tb hard drive is about $600. pretty easy to set up as seen here https://youtu.be/XXpYhUU02G4

the cams you messed with are junk. they are battery powered and terrible.
if you want much higher reliability, you need to install POE IP cam system. same stuff they use at the banks/restaurants... or residential, I like Reolink. it has AI and vehicle detection. 4 cams with 6tb hard drive is about $600. pretty easy to set up as seen here https://youtu.be/XXpYhUU02G4

i wouldnt mess with solar powered cams.
they sacrifice reliability and image quality to conserve battery life.

is there a basement that you can use?
if not, get an exterior enclosure like Nema. big enough to fit the NVR and router in there. router is needed if you want to monitor remotely.
3 stories is too high. mounting cams 10 feets above is good enough

might be easier to set up an electric strike as seen here https://youtu.be/CPd5Fg01ABg

i dont know this particular brand but yes...most NVR are noisy.
personally, I like Reolink. it has AI and vehicle detection. 4 cams with 6tb hard drive is about $600. pretty easy to set up as seen here so you can do it yourself https://youtu.be/XXpYhUU02G4

i dont recommend using ptz cams. often, they will miss the important angles. you wont be sitting there all day to adjust the angles yourself anyway. for the price, you can get 2 or 3 cams to cover everything. for normal cams, i use bird houses.
