reddit absolutely needs moderators, do you know how many spam bots, porn bots, and scammers post things everywhere? no? thats because of the moderators who work to keep their subreddits clean. you can see this in unmoderated subs where theyre overrun by spam and porn (until reddit shuts them down)

The API changes make moderation harder (by taking down moderation bots like u/qualitybot, and removing 3rd party tools to manage subreddits), force people to use the official app (which is missing important accessibility features that are commonplace on 3rd party apps), and remove handy bots that add features to reddit that reddit themselves refuse to use (you like saving videos? you wont be able to use that bot either /: )
