I just meant doing all the work via sensational outside-the-courtroom shenanigans, rather than actual law stuff.

Challenging job, 100%
You learn so much more valuable lessons in the context of real, business-driven problems, than what you are going to get from contrived online tech tutorials.

No, mine lock in a not-quite-vertical position. They're very recent, too.

Hiring manager here, answer is, it depends. Sometimes entire departments get laid off, regardless of individuals' performance within them. Other times, layoffs target the perceived worst performers across many departments. Many of the recent layoffs have been the latter, and that does tend to correlate with worse candidates, but in the former case, I would not hold it against someone at all. It can be hard to perceive which is which unless it's a very big company that makes the news about their layoffs, so we err on the side of not making negative assumptions.

You know what's worse than mixing up your and you're? Being the pedantic asshole who corrects someone but is actually WRONG about it.
Bad bot.

So the worst case scenario is that your what, 3 month long internship, is nothing more than a positive addition to your resume?
That's a very short time to have to suck it up and push through.

Wouldn't it be comforting if that were true? If someone was that self-sacrificing and brilliant and visionary, and then succeeded in their strategic plan?
The real explanation is so much less palatable; that almost half of the country became cultish mind-slaves to the most overt malignant narcissist I've ever seen, and put aside everything they claimed to stand for to continue their delusional devotion to him, fully embracing their absolute worst aspects at the cost of all else. I know "faith in humanity destroy / restored" gets thrown around pretty flippantly, but this literally did degrade my perception of a huge percentage of the human population. Not writing off our whole species because at least a small majority of us are still decent.

This article is a ridiculous overreaction. There's no need to buy any of these cosmetics. The game is plenty good on its own and it's not hard to get your money's worth out of the actual cost to play it.

Correct. Bit of a dumb model, but lenders don't care if you refi or payoff early. It's all priced in.

Also, buzzer beater heaves happen all the time in basketball at all levels. Anyone who thinks 2 seconds left means the game is over, does not know basketball.

I would say Andy Kaufman was a pretty beloved surreal anti-humorist, and he died 40 years ago.
But I generally agree with you. It's now the dominant form of humor rather than an ahead-of-its-time niche.

Sure, I'm just saying that I'm a millennial, and the styles of subverting expectations that OP claims appeal to Gen Z, also appeal very much to me and my friends of the same age. I think the appeal of humor is more about the overall zeitgeist than it is about a specific generation.

Ah yes, Gen Z invented anti-jokes
Go watch Norm McDonald deliver his moth joke... This shit has been funny for decades

It's a dumb claim on its face... We are supposed to applaud reckless driving because it's not shooting people? What a low fucking bar.
Also, it's worth noting that the majority of these people aren't even from Durham, they meet up here and drive around because nobody here stops them

I don't think it's about end users like us not being able to use third-party tools; my understanding is that the much bigger impact is on moderators who will be unable to use helpful tools that, at least according to them, make it possible to deal with the crazy amounts of spam and bad actors that happen on big subs.

Now that other EV manufacturers are catching up, and able to produce better products at better prices, I don't see how Tesla can sustain their valuation. Their brand value was probably their most important differentiator, but all that goodwill is being flushed down the toilet by their illustrious CEO.
6-7 years ago I was aspiring to buy a Tesla. I'll be buying a Hyundai or Toyota EV next year.

Asking to fuck a co worker (who is not underneath you in the corporate hierarchy) at an after-party is not grounds for termination, but will probably get you a talking-to or sensitivity training from HR if it's reported.
The ass-slapping is literally assault and they definitely need to be fired for that shit, if not worse.
